Fashion week at Paris is an attire trade show that is held twice each year in the city of France, Paris. The event is held in summer or spring and winter or autumn per annum. FFF (French Fashion Federation) decides the dates for the function. The latest fashion week was being held Carrousel du Louvre and as well as throughout the Paris.
Paris Fashion Week is a one of the four big fashion weeks internationally. The others are New York Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week and London Fashion Week. The schedule begins in the city of New York, then London, followed by Milan and then in Paris. In 2013, Paris fashion Week of the winter/ Fall Season began on 26th February. The show started from the popular Moon Young Hee followed by Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Comme des Garcons, Coco Chanel, Balenciaga and much more.
The purpose of these runway shows is to show variety of labels in the fashion industry that will be releasing for the increase in the sale of those world-known brands. Best models from around the globe were hunt down as the catwalks must be perfect.
From Ready-made dresses to Men’s clothing, every type was there, including Haute Couture shows. When the show PFW (Paris Fashion Week) started, the whole of Parisian street became a runway with citizens actively participating as the audience. There was extremely lush luxurious fashion collection to the edgy fashion labels, every woman and men dedicated themselves to look the best.
Paris being the fashion capital of the entire universe holds the finale show of the fashion show tour. Haute Couture Fashion week was the most awaited one, with avant-garde designers with their best creations. Christian Dior show was the most popular one; the front row was being packed with the top celebrities and other popular designers. The designer Raf Simon was the honor of Dior’s changed innovative New Look. There were awe-inspiring A-line gowns with fixed waists in uniform colors, a lovely tie-dye and unemotional floral on the gowns.
Valentino displayed dark velvety and chiffon blue and black gowns with pleats and applique merged in. Giorgio Armani Prive displayed types of jump suits of black with Pale lilac, blue and hot pink.
